Lori Wotherspoon – Lorelee Lane Farm

Lorelee Lane Farm is 5 acres of farmland located in beautiful Roberts Creek, BC producing not only fleece from Llama and Alpaca, but also chicken and duck eggs for sale, a variety of vegetables, and a huge cutting garden of which some flowers may be useful for textile dying; Rudbekia and Zinnia.

Lorelee Farm Menagerie

The menagerie of animals on the farm include: 3 horses, a mini horse, 5 mini goats, bunnies, about 30 chickens of various breeds, 1 goose, 5 ducks, 1 Llama, and 2 Alpacas.

Reba (Llama) was a SPCA rescue adopted about 2 years ago. When she first arrived she was very malnourished and thin and very afraid of people. She is now a beautiful healthy robust and friendly girl who enjoys her mini goat stable mates as well as her 2 alpaca friends.

Lorelee Lane Farm Alpacas

Tess and Shadow (Alpaca) were purchased from a local farmer in Roberts Creek. I believe they were originally bred on Vancouver Island.

Tess is a healthy and friendly first with a most gorgeous white fleece. She was very cooperative for her first shearing in her new home.

Shadow has a dark brown fleece. She is partially blind as is missing one eye but manages fabulously.

And if you are looking for a short getaway, the beautiful loft space above the barn is available for rent through Air B’nB.
